Charity raffle raises over £100

Raffle raise over £100 for RSPCA this winter.

Kind hearted drivers, engineers, office staff and managers donated unwanted gifts including tins of biscuits, sweets, bottles of wine and even a large hamper which were then raffled off earlier this month.

We managed to raised over £100 which was donated to Coventry's RSPCA branch to help support them with their hard work this winter time.

Bus Services Manager Paul Dadzis and Operations Supervisor Tas Siddiqui handed over the cash to the very grateful staff at their Coundon Wedge base.  One of the volunteers informed us "Animal abandonments increase hugely over the Christmas period meaning the money is needed more now than ever."

Due to its success we plan to hold another raffle for unwanted Christmas presents next year.
