Get involved in Catch the Bus Week 2015!

29th June to 5th July 2015

In partnership with Greener Journeys and The Department for Transport we are thrilled to support Catch the Bus Week.

We want to encourage people who don't normally take the bus to give it a try, get involved!

What are the benefits of travelling by bus?

Travelling by bus can help reduce stress and can be good for your health - it is a third less stressful to commute by bus than car and taking the bus can help achieve half the governments recommended 30 minutes of exercise each day.

The bus is good for the economy and helps support local communities - bus users make 1.4 billion shopping trips and spend an estimated £27 billion on retail goods annually.

Buses bring people together and are vital for an inclusive society - 48% of the lowest income group do not have access to a car. Young people are more dependent on bus services than any other group - over half of 16-19 year olds are regular bus users.

What do you have to do to get involved?

To get involved and be in with the chance of winning a 4 week nBus ticket, simply upload your selfie to Twitter, Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #busselfie and you will be automatically registered to the prize draw.
